Whitewater Rafting Trips on the Ocoee River
The Ocoee River will thrill you from launch to takeout. You'll feel the excitement as you enter a non-stop journey with over 20 continuous Class III and IV Rapids that drops an exhilarating 260 feet from start to finish. The Ocoee River is dam-controlled, so even in the driest months the water levels stay constant. You’ll not only enjoy the thrill and excitement of America's favorite and most popular whitewater adventure, but you'll also enjoy a 1½ - 2 hour trip through the beautiful and dramatic Ocoee Gorge in the Cherokee National Forest. The Ocoee River offers two different sections of the river, the Upper Ocoee and the Middle Ocoee. Both sections have become popular with families and groups. There is no experience necessary. We provide all necessary equipment and each raft will have a trained guide that will be ready to take you on a journey down the Ocoee River. Ocoee River rafting is sure to be an adventure full of fun, action, and excitement!
Are you ready to have some fun on America's most famous stretch of continuous Class III & IV whitewater rapids? The Middle Ocoee River is a 5-mile stretch of whitewater that takes you through rapids such as Grumpy’s, Broken Nose, Diamond Splitter, and Table Saw. Our guides enjoy the Ocoee River as much as our customers do. The more they get to play on the rapids the more they enjoy it, just as you will. You may even decide you want to ride the Bull through Double Trouble. The Middle Ocoee River provides enjoyable excitement for everyone. We hope you’ll join us this year to experience Ocoee River rafting, a whitewater adventure you won’t forget! For the Middle Ocoee dates and times please click here to view the calendar.

The Upper Ocoee runs only 54 days out of the year. When this section is running, it gives you almost 5 additional miles of cascading Class III & IV rapids and pristine whitewater wilderness. The Upper Ocoee River is the site of the 1996 Olympic Whitewater competition, and is still taken on by many paddlers today. We challenge you to take on the infamous Humongous and Slam Dunk.
